About the Design
Donovan has always considered the dinosaur to be part fact and part fiction, but always a fantasy. Paleontologists give us the facts while Hollywood gives us the fiction and somewhere in between lies the fantasy. It is imagination that fuels his fantasy and provides him with the inspiration for this dinosaur.

Donovan envisions these creatures as a majestic representation of nature, one of "nature's jewels." Donovan has literally created a sparkling gem in the form of a Stegosaurus by encrusting its entire form in glass beads. A palette of blue and green undertones create a glistening jewel of mammoth scale and splendor that reflects these creatures of fantasy.
