About
the Design
This Stegosaurus knows that he represents his school
to the larger community. With school blazer neatly pressed
and backpack at the ready, he stands tall and looks everyone
in the eye. "SEAWolfasaurus" proudly welcomes visitors
to St. Edmund’s Academy in Squirrel Hill. Standing sentry
at the Forbes Avenue entrance, this dino is a product of the
imagination of many children and one school’s commitment
to seeing their vision from design to finished piece of art.
Children from both the Lower School and Upper School helped
create SEAWolfasaurus, whose name is a combination of the
school’s initials and its mascot,
the wolf. The dino skin is personalized with students’
handprints.
