About the Design
As an elementary art teacher for Franklin Regional School District for 28 years, Glenda Washburn was very excited about the artistic possibilities involving the Dinomite project.

Washburn's Stegosaurus design is based on Phipps Conservatory, with an emphasis on the unique historic architectural greenhouse design and the flowers, butterflies and water gardens therein. Washburn asked the principal of her school for permission to use the art room as a studio, as she thought it would be a wonderful way of involving their 600-plus students in the Dinomite event.
